We saw the heartbeat!!!

Today I'm officially 2 months pregnant. Last Friday we saw the heartbeat! It was amazing! You could see all the blood and fluids moving from one side to the other. I guess it caught me by surprise how active and clear everything looked. I think Adal thought it was pretty cool, too. It is still a little scary that there's an ANIMAL in my abdomen area, and it's MOVING around. The hard part to swallow is that there's no going back. It's just going to get bigger and bigger and move around more and more. Yuuucch! I know it's supposed to be "beautiful" and "a miracle" and all those cheesy things, but it's still foreign to me. I'm still not thinking past this stage, where I have no belly, all my clothes fit, and my only symptom is sleepiness and a little nausea.

My due date has changed to December 30. The Obstetrician said everything was okay and I don't have an appointment for a month.
